ROAD CLOSURE - PEDESTRIAN FATAL
Wed. March 27 - 9:00 p.m. - Meriden Police are investigating an incident involving a male pedestrian, who was struck by a vehicle and killed this evening in the area of 1939 North Broad Street (Berlin Turnpike).
At this time (9:00 p.m.), the CT State Police have the entrance to Route 15 Northbound (Berlin Turnpike) from I-691 blocked preventing any traffic from getting onto the Berlin Turnpike northbound, while the investigation continues.
The Meriden Police have the Broad St. entrance to the Berlin Turnpike closed at this time on Broad Street preventing northbound traffic from getting onto the Berlin Turnpike and all vehicular traffic is asked to avoid the area while the accident is investigated.
