MERIDEN GOES "LIVE" WITH NEW GIS WEBSITE
The City of Meriden has released to the public the newest version of the Meriden Geographic Information System (GIS) website.
And, while the new GIS Portal still includes the same helpful features available in the past, many new features have been added, including:
• Election app: Enter an address and find your polling place and representational districts
• Dashboards app: View generalized information about the City. The app includes dashboards for Building Permits, Census data, and Property Sales.
• Download data: Users with access to their own GIS software can now download some Meriden GIS layers directly from the portal
• Make a Map app: Users can now make their own maps, add city data, and even add their own GIS data
• Parks app: With this app, users can either pick a specific park and see what it offers or find parks that include specific activities.
• Property Sales app: View sales for the previous 3 years. Filter properties for any year on a number of different criteria including sale date, sale price, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, acreage, etc.
