The City of Meriden Health & Human Services Department has confirmed a case of rabies in a raccoon that attacked a dog, who was fully vaccinated. This occurred in the vicinity of Elliott St. (off of Cooke Ave) on Tuesday, May 27.
Those, who have been exposed to the rabid raccoon, have been notified.
