The White Castle USA Luge Slider Search will slide into Meriden this Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, at Hubbard Park.
This national search, which uses cool sleds on wheels to identify potential future USA Luge national team members ((and Olympians)), will welcome kids ages 10-13 to Meriden’s Hubbard Park for this weekend’s FUN clinic!

Six members of the 2026 Olympic Luge team were discovered through the USA Luge Slider Search program, which was established in 1985, and has produced 29 Olympians, including two Olympic medalists, along with countless World Championship and World Cup medalists!
Meriden’s three clinics, open to kids from across Connecticut, take place at the following times on both Saturday and Sunday:
9:00 a.m.
12:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m.
This will be the first time this star search visits Meriden, which is one of nine stops this year nationwide!
