The City of Meriden will be submitting a grant application for $4 million to the Environmental Protection Agency for environmental remediation of 144 Pratt St.
The proposed reuse of this property supports the City of Meriden’s flood risk reduction, climate resilience, environmental restoration, and downtown revitalization goals.

Public comment on this proposed project will be accepted via email at councilcomment@meridenct.gov and during the City Council meeting Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, Room 206, at Meriden City Hall.
The grant application deadline is Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
