The Meriden Police Department Community Outreach Begins Tomorrow with “Thursday Talks”

The Meriden Police Department (MPD) is committed to providing the best police service to our community. A key component to providing a successful service is having open communication with our citizens. Our goal here at the Meriden Police Department is to expand our communication and transparency with residents, stakeholders and business owners. MPD is proud to announce to our citizens the opportunity to meet and have open discussions with Chief Rosado and various police officers.

This community outreach program called “Thursday Talks” will occur every second Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. beginning tomorrow, August 13, at the Meriden Green. The location of each meeting will be posted on the Meriden Police Department Facebook Page. In addition, Chief Rosado will have open office hours from 3 – 6 pm every Thursday for individuals who wish to meet and have private discussions.

The Meriden Police Department looks forward to strengthening relationships, building trust and engaging with our citizens. Chief Rosado and the men and women of the Meriden Police Department are committed to the City of Meriden and the community!
