City of Meriden Strongly Recommends Masks

MERIDEN- The City of Meriden and the Department of Health and Human Services strongly recommends all residents and visitors to our community to wear masks when conducting business in indoor settings, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not. Masks are required to be worn inside city buildings such as City Hall, the Library, and Senior Center.

This advisory is issued as COVID-19 cases are on the rise in our community. Our goal here in Meriden is to keep businesses open and our community safe. Businesses are encouraged to adopt universal masking requirements for customers entering indoor areas of their businesses to provide better protection to their employees and customers.

Visit our COVID-19 Pop-up Clinic website to learn where you can find a vaccination site near you. For more information regarding COVID-19 cases, vaccination rates, and other data for our city visit: COVID-19 INFORMATION (meridenct.gov).
