CAR SEAT INSPECTIONS AND INSTALLATIONS - The Meriden Health Department has been recognized as a fitting station by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. We have three Nationally Certified staff that can inspect and/or install car seats. An appointment can be made by calling Stephanie Denya @ 203-630-4223.

We also offer Child Passenger Installation classes throughout the year for parents and caregivers. These classes are taught by CCMC's Safe Kids CT but are taught at our Miller Street location. Through the Injury Prevention Grant, we are able to provide free car seats at these events. Like us on Facebook to receive notifications of upcoming classes.
