COVID-19 VACCINATION INFORMATION

SCROLL DOWN FOR POP UP CLINIC OPPORTUNITIES!!

Everyone 5 years of age or older is eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination. Persons 5 and over can get the Pfizer vaccine.  Persons 18 and over can receive the Moderna vaccine. The Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) vaccine is available under Emergency Use Authorization for those 18 years of age and older. Pfizer and Moderna have both been approved.

First and Second Booster shots are now available. Those 12 and over can get a first booster if it has been 5 months since the second shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or 2 months after the single Johnson and Johnson. For second boosters, those who are over 50 or who are moderately or severely immunocompromised are now eligible. It has to be 4 months since your first booster to get the second.

The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, and is widely available.

Click here for a list of vaccination locations in Connecticut. Many locations do not require appointments; we recommend you call before going to ensure vaccine supply, what type of vaccine they are offering, what age group they are serving, and if appointments are required.

If you are fully vaccinated, you can do many of the activities you did before the pandemic started. Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.
