City Clerk’s Office- Land Recording Information COVID New Process
ATTENTION TITLE SEARCHERS AND LAND RECORDING:

We consider the recording of land records to be an essential function of our office, but in the likelihood of full office closure due to the current health crisis, we are recommending and encouraging our recorders to utilize e-recording options and to sign up for an online subscription to perform searches of our land records.

SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR VIEWING/PRINTING MERIDEN LAND RECORDS:

Pay for the subscription using the following link:
Email the completed subscription form to firstname.lastname@example.org and the main inbox email email@example.com you will be sent a login and password. Please note that our search engine prefers any Microsoft based browser. If you have any issues running the program with other browsers, please try Internet Explorer. Please do not make a payment after business hours. Account activation requires manual setup by Clerk’s Office.
Agents that we utilize are Simplifile or CSC. Our office also accepts e-recorded deeds, but you must file the op-236 forms through the DRS website separately, especially if there are taxes involved. Town conveyance taxes can be included in the recording payment.
