Per Diem Public Health Nurse
The City of Meriden, Department of Health and Human Services, is looking to hire Per Diem Public Health Nurses to work in school health offices during the school year.
Substitute School Crossing Guard
This is routine work in safeguarding the passage of school children across heavily traveled streets.
Public Health Nurse I – School Year (Part time, 15 hours per week, 10 months)
The Public Health Nurse I serves as a resource person to classroom teachers and others pertaining to health instruction; plans and participates in manners pertaining to health appraisals; provides first aid care in emergencies; gives prescribed treatments, administers health screenings, maintains accurate records, interprets and complies with laws, regulations, and ordinances regarding public health work, and prepares narrative and statistical reports as needed.
Entry Level Police Officers
South Meriden Volunteer Fire Dept.
Volunteers of all types are needed for (but not limited to) firefighting duties, clerical help, and community events.
