Meriden Transfer Station Bulky Waste Drop Off

Effective June 8, 2020, Bulky Waste Drop Off at the Meriden Transfer Station will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY in order to provide safe social distancing and reduced wait times for residents.  No appointment is necessary for disposal of brush and leaves only

Residents will be given 45 minute windows to visit the transfer station.  To schedule an appointment, please leave a message at (203) 630-4019.  Please provide the Plate # for the vehicle that will be at the transfer station, along with preferred dates and times.  No unscheduled vehicles will be permitted and residents must unload their own vehicles.   For the safety of all users, please wear a face covering when using the Transfer Station.  Face coverings are required when interacting with all Transfer Station personnel. 

Appointments are on first-come, first-served basis and will be available the following dates and times:

  • Saturday, July 11th (7AM – 12PM)
  • Monday, July 13th (10AM – 2PM)
  • Wednesday, July 15th (7AM – 12PM)
  • Saturday, July 18th (7AM – 12PM)
  • Monday, July 20th (10AM – 2PM)
  • Wednesday, July 22nd (7AM – 12PM)
  • Saturday, July 25th (7AM – 12PM)
  • Monday, July 27th (10AM – 2PM)
  • Wednesday, July 29th (7AM – 12PM)

Cash or check will be accepted and we encourage exact amounts.

Free bulky waste day is tentatively scheduled for August 2020, and is subject to change.
