(link to flyer)

The public is invited to attend a free community presentation by Keith Davis, National Speaker and Former NFL Player, on May 1, 2019, from 2:30-3:30pm, at Maloney High School, 121 Gravel Street, Meriden.

Keith Davis is a former college and professional football player who has learned many lessons about winning and losing over the course of his life. After a football injury ended his National Football League career, Keith decided to dedicate his life’s work to motivational speaking in hopes of being a positive voice for today’s youth. His resounding message to students is that with effort, a focus on education and the excellence they already possess, they too can be champions.

During his community presentation, Keith will discuss the importance of strong relationships with youth, improving connections with struggling youth, promoting team building and increasing moral. Parents and teachers are highly encouraged to attend. Keith will be presenting to juniors and seniors at Platt and Maloney High Schools during the school day, encouraging them to be substance free before, during, and after prom.

This event is co-sponsored by the Meriden Department of Health and Human Services and the Meriden Healthy Youth Coalition. If you have any questions, please contact Megan Fitzsimons at megan.fitzsimons@hhchealth.org or 203-630-5357.
